    What is the difference between interstate and intrastate moving?

    We deal in both interstate moves and intrastate moves. Intrastate is also known as local moves which literally means that you move within the state. Interstate means the move which is done across the state.

    What are our responsibilities regarding the duration of move?

    We are punctual and committed to our customers. However, exceptions are to be made during bad weather conditions, disaster, catastrophe, or any act of God beyond our limits, then we try our best to make it up to our customers by all means.

    What are ‘Brokers’ in the moving and relocation business? How do they work?

    Brokers in this business are pretty common, most of them are unlicensed and they do not own any moving vehicles. They collect cash and contact any of the unprofessional movers. So, you should also be aware of them and always seek help from a professional.

    What are your operational timings?

    We are happy to announce that we are not limited to timings. Just for the sake of your satisfactory and convenience we operate 24/7.

    What is the procedure for moving and shifting?

    There are three simple steps to work us:

    1.   You request quotation by call or email
    2.   We sign mutual agreement or decide a time for meeting
    3.   We are good to go
    How to get our rates/quotes?

    You can either simply fill out a form given at home. Click on the “Get A Quote” on the upper left corner to get the best rates among companies based in Adelaide.

    Does your rates include hidden charges?

    No, it is clarified here that the rates provided at your request are final and best. They do not include any hidden charges. Even if there are any extra charges (which includes duties, taxes, tolls, or any fees payable to agencies, government or any other autonomous bodies) are clearly mentioned.

    How long is the quotation valid?

    The rates provided are valid for 7 days following the day of issuance (Otherwise mentioned). We can be contacted within the stipulated time duration else additional charges may differ due to changes in rules of taxes, freight, fuel prices or any other factors.

    Do you cover insurance?

    Yes, we do cover insurances and you are not charged extra for it. The insurances that we provide includes Standard Public Liability and Marine Insurance.

    What if I delay mover?

    If the company is informed to delay or withheld. In such a case, there will be no additional charges before the 7 working days of the removal. You’ll be charged with 50% if you postpone between 2 and 6 working days before the removal. Likely, you are liable to pay 75% of our charges before 2 days of removal and 100% at the time of the commencement of work.

    What does your Insurance cover?

    Standard Public Liability covers up to $ 5 Million and Marine Insurance covers up to $10,000 per truck load (only in case of road accidents).

    What are our liabilities?

    We are liable to the tasks that we mutually agreed upon will be performed by us. We are not liable to any job performed by your agent or performed from your end.

    What if the goods are damaged?

    It should be kept in mind that we are responsible for the damage(s) reported until the movers leave (or in few cases which include the goods which are packed in boxes can be reported within 24 hours of delivery/consignment) and that we are responsible for only the damages caused by us or our agents.

    We are not responsible for the damage(s) done due to defective packaging which is not done by us or our agent.

    What is the time period for claim?

    As mentioned above, the claim time period purely depends on the nature of the good, if it is packed then you will have 24 hours to claim damage else the time for claim expires as soon as the mover leaves.

    How to pay you?

    Only cash is accepted or Credit Cards (3% surcharge applicable) and Company Bank Cheques, all cheques made payable to “REAL MOVERS”.

    When do I pay you?

    You can pay us once the job is done, but we also reserve the right to request initial deposit for booking confirmation.

    What if I can not pay?

    If someone refuses to pay or can not keep up with the deadline of payment then the company reserves the right to practise legal right of “Lien”, which allows the company to hold on the goods until the outstanding charges are paid.

    What if my payment is late?

    For any reason if the payment is delayed, then the goods will automatically be withheld until the final payment is made. Additional charges will be applied for storage and redelivery (including any legal charge).
